As a leading global technology group, Midea has long been committed to expanding in overseas markets and building its international brand strategy. On 2nd September 2025, Midea Group and FC Barcelona jointly announced their cooperation agreement. Starting from the 2026/27 season, Midea will officially become a main partner of FC Barcelona for a five-year term, lasting until the 2030/31 season.
This partnership will serve as a powerful engine for Midea’s international growth, adding momentum to its brand’s global presence. As a key step in Midea’s global strategy, the collaboration marks an important milestone. Under the agreement, Midea and FC Barcelona will engage in extensive cooperation. In addition to LED advertising exposure at prime positions such as pitch-side boards and goal areas, the Midea logo will appear on the sleeves of all FC Barcelona’s matchday and training jerseys.
Announcing the partnership several months before the start of a new season reflects the importance both parties attach to this strategic alliance. On September 2, a senior Midea delegation visited FC Barcelona’s home ground. Midea International President, Lewis Fu, and FC Barcelona’s First Vice President, Rafael Tuste i Abel, jointly attended the signing ceremony, formalizing this milestone collaboration.
